BioNova is an industry association of approximately 85 Nova Scotia companies and institutions involved in the biotechnology and life science industries. The focus of the various firms ranges from pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, diagnostics and nutraceuticals to environmental activities and support biotechnology to the resource industries of forestry, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture. In other life science areas, there are companies providing medical devices, telemedicine, software and medical information technologies. The association also has a number of members providing support services to the industry, including banks, venture funds, accounting firms, lawyers and government departments. Vision and Mission The BioNova Vision is to be an internationally recognized and respected industry association in the field of biotechnology. Our mission is to assist member firms to prosper, through initiatives designed to secure business and development opportunities in national and international markets.
