Fathers Are Capable Too is one of the largest non-custodial parents' and children's rights organizations in Canada dealing with custody and access. F.A.C.T. is an organization of both men and women working to support our children's right to have a relationship with both parents. We are a not-for-profit, non-custodial support and advocacy group.

OUR VISION:

We will change the legal and social attitudes to promote shared parenting and formal equality.

OUR MISSION:

To promote public awareness, provide education and support programs in parenting for children, their families and the total community.
To perform research relating to separated families, children and their social environment.
To establish and provide support programs for parents and children.
To support the educational, social and recreational activities of the community.

FACT will maintain focus on our vision and mission.
We are respectful of the societal norms and laws.
We are a moderate, non-violent vehicle for change.
We will conduct our behaviour with integrity and credibility.
We value the talents of our individual members and recognize that success lies with the group.

F.A.C.T. will continue to be a moderate group that is inclusive of both genders, all races, colours, creeds and denominations. We are dedicated to promoting:

an unbiased image of fatherhood and motherhood,

shared and equal parenting, and

preserving the rights of our children, and future children, to a complete relationship with both parents and their extended families.

As with all groups, it is necessary to have a membership voice to be heard by politicians, and some funds with which to operate.

Full Membership costs $40 per annum and allows you vote for the executive board of F.A.C.T. It also gives you access to the F.A.C.T. library, and allows you to participate in all the committees of F.A.C.T. If you decide to attend out weekly meetings in Toronto, you will only pay $2 for entry - a 50% savings.

Associate Membership costs $10 per annum and is non-voting. While you cannot vote, you can participate on certain committees. If you decide to attend our weekly meetings in Toronto, you will also only pay $3 for admission, rather than the general $4 - a 25% savings.

We would welcome you to consider giving the associate membership as gifts to those affected by relationship breakdowns to enable them to recognize that, in some way, they are changing the divorce/separation system to truly recognise the best interests of our children.
