Hydraulic systems and the maintenance of hydraulic systems and equipment - KJ

During the past years, KJ-Hydraulik has experienced a steady increase in its involvement with the Faroese fleet and offshore businesses (fish farmers etc.). Working in the field of hydraulics, we are looking with great expectations towards the possibility of oil production in Faroese waters.

The company was established about 20 years ago, when Mr. Kári Johannesen started as a representative for the Norwegian company Rapp Hydema.

KJ-Hydraulik represents various companies, including: Rapp Hydema, Rapp Hydema Syd, Pullmaster Corp., Palfinger Marine cranes and Statoil.

We are a general service company, our speciality being in the field of hydraulic systems and the maintenance of hydraulic systems and equipment. We aim to be "the prefered choice" for anyone in need of service to their hydraulic systems or possible installations of new hydraulic equipment.

Our main area of business is Kambsdalur, just outside the town of Fuglafjřrđur, but we also have a workshop located by the waterfront in the village of Eiđi, both located on the island of Eysturoy. KJ-Hydraulik nevertheless works all over the Faroe Islands.

It is considered to be one of our strengths that we are mobile to an extent not found anywhere else on the Islands.
