The two trawlers are pair-trawlers, each 210 brutto tons and they fish together both within Faeroese territorial waters and the North Sea. The main catch is coal fish.

The catch has been very satisfactory and the main problems the company faces is acquiring an increased quota. The two trawlers were originally bought to keep the quotas within the region and to create work for the local fishermen.

The administrator Mr. Anfinn Olsen is optimistic about the future, provided that the two trawlers maintain and increase their quotas.

The ownership of the company is untraditional in that the 18 fishermen who operate the trawlers own one third of the company, a system of joint responsibility which has proved very successful in the operation and management.
