Viberg Sųrensen
SETA Ltd |
| SETA Ltd was founded by Mr. Viberg
Sųrensen. The company, which is located in Trangisvįg, is involved in vessel operation,
net production and machine repairs. SETA operates two fishing vessels, m/s Sušurvarši
and m/s Anita. Sušurvarši is a prawn trawler, but is equipped for net or line fishing. In 1995 the trawler was used mainly for prawn fishing in the fishing protection zone around Svalbard in the North Atlantic. M/s Anita fishes within Faroese jurisdiction. Since 1991 experiments with gillnets and tanglenets for deep-sea fishing at depths of 500 to 1000 metres have been practiced on m/s Anita. These experiments have proved very successful, and the product has been highly praised by the local fish processing plant, who claim Anita's catch is a first-class product. The catch is mainly Greenland halibut and monkfish, which is delivered by SETA directly to a fish-processing factory in Trangisvįg. SETA also operates a net-production and maintainance workshop in addition to repairs for vessels. |
