Ahlstrom Electrical Accessories Ltd, Strömfors is a company operating on the international market. Strömfors manufactures and markets electrical accessories and its wide product range consists of over 2,000 products.
The Strömfors Works is situated in Strömfors in southern Finland. The Finnish sales office is in Helsinki, and there are other sales offices in the following European cities: Stockholm, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Strömfors has also sales representatives in Germany, Austria, Portugal and Holland.
The Strömfors Standard is an extensive electrical accessories package, representing the latest technology and design. The Strömfors Standard forms the foundation of the Strömfors product range.
The Strömfors Standard has considerably expanded the number of installation options for electrical fittings, as its products can be fitted as flush, surface and duct mounting, as in moulding installations.
The MBI (Module-Based Installation) principle is applied to Strömfors' Standard products. The MBI concept means that the dimensions of electrical accessories have been standardized and that accessories are compatible with each other. MBI products are based on a 70 x 70 mm centre plate size. The MBI principle means that a smaller number of products can be used during an installation project, which makes ordering, storage and installation of the products considerably easier and streamlined.
Flush mounting
Strömfors Standard electrical accessories form a comprehensive range of flush-mounted products, which are also compatible with Strömfors telecommunications, data and low current products.
Surface mounting
Surface mounting is easy with Strömfors Standard. For installation, it it sufficient to have three surface mounting housings and Strömfors Standard appliances.
Flush mounting
Strömfors Standard electrical accessories form a comprehensive range of flush-mounted products, which are also compatible with Strömfors telecommunications, data and low current products.
Duct mounting
Duct mounting can be carried out quickly and easily with a new system, DUCTEL, which Strömfors has developed with Nokia Alumiini Oy. All Strömfors Standard products are compatible with the DUCTEL system, which employs a snap-on, quick-fit method.
Moulding installation
New moulding installation system is developed for the Strömfors Standard. Now moulding installation can also be performed with a small number of accessories, using two moulding installation housings and Strömfors Standard appliances.
