Designer clothes at reasonable prices

ot many expect to find a wide selection of quality clothes and products so far north in the Arctic Circle. This is in fact quite true and believe it or not, the prices are reasonable too. Wares such as clothes, watches and computers are considerably cheaper in Iceland than in many other capital places of the world.

Lively Nightlife

Akureyri is lovely, calm and pretty during the day but those that thirst for a busy nightlife, have much to choose from, especially Friday and Saturday evenings, when the pubs, clubs and bars are bursting with festivities. Each place has their own special ambiance, so all age groups should find something to their liking. There are two famous places near the old harbour; Oddvitinn and Viđ Pollinn, both housed in very old buildings of Akuryeri. Another rather famous place among Icelanders is Sjallinn and visitors are welcome to find out for themselves what it is famous for! Of course, there are other nightlife joints too and note that many day-time cafés, turn into pubs at night with an excellent array of music to liven the scene.
