Vestmannaeyjar or “The West man Islands” has one of the largest varieties of bird species in Iceland including puffins. No were else in the world can such large numbers of puffins be found in such close proximity to man. It’s estimated that the colonies are between 6 – 8 million puffins. We also have the largest gannet and guillemot colonies in the world and numerous other species of nesting. In addition, we often see whales on our tours including orcas, dolphins and porpoises. The spectacular cliffs and natural terrain that can be seen here amaze everyone who comes to West man Islands. Our boat tours give an opportunity to see these wonders of nature from different perspective.
