Located in the town of Hella guesthouse Brenna is a accommodation option near  mountain Hekla. At our guesthouse there are 4 and 5 bedded rooms and special family rooms. Guests can use their own sleeping bags if they prefer but there are duvets and pillows at the Guesthouse and bed linen to hire.

Guests can also bring their own linen with them. In the Guesthouse is kitchen where the guests can cook their own meals and a big kitchen for groups. It's open the whole year.

Individual tourists and groups now have the change to go to the summit Hekla by snowmobile or a special equipped car in the depths of winter when the view from this magnificent volcano is at its most spectacular.

Driving up the slopes and then standing on the hot pumice at the top of this 1.491 meter high peak is an indescribable experience.

You can even dig down a few inches into the pumice and heat up your sandwiches and hot dogs whilst enjoying the view.

Don't just take our word for it, come and see for yourself! It was said that the souls of the doomed sank into the crater of Hekla. Do they still?
