Formax Ltd. is an engineering and equipment manufacturing company specialized in the fish handling and fish processing technology. Recently Meka Engineering Ltd. and Formax merged their activities. By this a solid base of knowledge on the operational and process technical side and the know-how in production of state of the art processing lines became one. The company is now offering consulting and design services as well as construction and installation of processing lines and stand alone equipment.

With more than 15 years of history in the business the company has gained waste knowledge and experience. A number of products and system solutions have been developed, installed and tested. The product range is from onboard processing equipment to land based processing equipment, being either simple units or up to fully automatic high capacity systems. All systems are developed in close collaboration with the client and our or third party vendors equipment is adapted to the clients need. Till now we have designed and installed systems for processing cod, hake, redfish, salmon, tilapia, Nile perch, capelin, herring, mackerel, shrimp and mussels from catch to final product.

Formax Autoplate APL
Formax Ltd. and Jacstone Froster Ltd. have teamed up and put together their knowledge and forces to develop a new automatic plate freezer. It is unique in this design and techincal performance. They are manufactured in accordance with DnV approval codes. The unit is electrically driven and operated through a touch screen panel. A computer oversees the control and makes the opertation simple. No hydraulic nor pneumatic air is needed. This mean very low noise level. The number of sensor sand motors hav been minimized to increase reliability and reduce maintaenance cost.

Formax Blender FB 300
Formax introduces a new generation of Liquid Ice generatios based on ice and brine mixing. The new computer aided process provides constant high quality ice production. The easy to use control panel makes the machine simple to operate. The FB-300 is automatic self adjustable to given specification on required output. The desired temperature of the liquid ice can be selected an teh control makes the correct mix.
