About Gentle Giants
Gentle Giants is operating exciting seafaring adventures from Húsavík; A beautiful fishing village on the northern coast of Iceland, often considered the Whale Watching Capital of Europe. 2011 is our tenth year of successful whale watching with a 98% success rate of spotting whales.
Our aim is to raise general awareness and interest in whales and their habitat. We focus on quality rather than quantity, and that is why we can offer you outstanding personal service.
This year we proudly present a new addition to our fleet; Amma Sigga. A RHIB which can ride you in a breathtaking speed. The name means “Granny Sigga” and comes from the owner’s grandmother who also lived her whole life by Skjálfandi Bay.
Three new tours have been added to our vast selection of excursions; Puffins Exclusive, Big Whale Safari and Pro-Fishing. Those are trips developed by us after the market’s supply and demand.

GG1 Whale Watching
Experience the traditional tour from Húsavík. Our birthplace is considered by visitors as the Whale Watching Capital of Europe. It is a unique adventure at sea - watching the wonders of nature in the beautiful surroundings of Skjálfandi Bay, sheltered by the stunning mountains of Vík. This is where our roots lie, where our ancestors used to live in peace and joy for centuries, living in total harmony with the unpredictable and untamed nature of the North Atlantic.
