Guest House Borgartún Reykjavik, Iceland
You can be sure of a warm welcome and quality services at the Guðmundur Jónasson Guest House.

GJ Travel Bus Rental
GJ Travel began as a bus company, which is still the background of our operations. Our fleet numbers twenty four modern Mercedes-Benz coaches, ranging in size from ten to fifty eight seaters, as well as several specially equipped kitchen buses and trailers. All are available for hire year round, for trips as short as taking a group from their hotel to a restaurant in town, to a highland camping trip or a hotel tour. We can tailor a package to suit your requirements - with tour guide, staffed kitchen bus, hotel accommodation or tents, airport-city transfers, and anything else you may need. If you have a group that wants to go places, contact us. We will get you there!
Ask for our special group offer for escorted day excursions.

Special tours in Iceland

Our tours can be combined to make a longer stay in Iceland or taken as a separate departure. All include a stay in Reykjavík. Accommodation is in hotels, guest houses and private homes. In addition, jeep tours to off the beaten track locations are offered with our festival tours at New Year and Easter. There are many aspects of Iceland that can be best enjoyed outside the summer months. Winter time offers the spectacle of the northern lights and a countryside sleeping under a cover of snow. During the autumn the northern lights are also present, combined with a colourful landscape of brown and red, while springtime gives long hours of daylight and the arrival of Iceland's abundant birdlife busily sorting out partners and nestingsites.
