Beutiful view in a quiet town
From the guesthouse you have a beautiful view over the town and to the sea, in the summer you can often see whales in the fjord direct from the house. We have a very beautiful garden in which guests have direct access to. The garden received environmental awards from the local authority in the year 2001. There is also a Jacuzzi for the guest to use without surcharge.

Get closer to Nature
It is possible supply fishing license in nearby lakes and rivers, as seal and bird watching tours from land and sea.

A little bit about Hvammstangi
Hvammstangi is a small village with 600 inhabitants; you find all the necessary service you need as a traveler. A large grocery, a bank with an ATM and one of the best swimming pool in North Iceland. A visit to The Icelandic Seal Centre is also worth doing as it is the only seal centre in the country.
