Super Jeep Tours has a long and successful history in the travelling around
Iceland. They travel into the highlands of Iceland untouchable nature and
other exciting places, to see glaciers, volcanic crates, crossing glaciers
rivers. Here are some of the summer tours (June, July, August and Sept.) offered by JRJ-Super Jeeps. In all these tours the staff off JRJ-Super Jeep will pick you up at your hotel, every where in the country including the Keflavik International Airport, according to your wishes. Tour JRJ-1 in June-July-August-Sept A 2 days trip (Saturday and Sunday) to the highlands, to see glaciers, volcanic crates, crossing clacier rivers, long and short walks in geyser area to a glacier, bathing in natural hot-spring ponds, sleeping in a mountain hut. Bring your sleeping bag or one will be provided for you at a minimum cost. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners proveded by us. Tour JRJ-2 in July-August-Sept A 5 days trip to the world famous hot-spring Geysir, and Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall), Thingvellir the parliament site where Iceland’s parliament was held from the year 930 to near the 20th century. Trip to the highlands to see glaciers, volcanic crators, crossing glacier rivers. Visiting lake Mývatn the natural phenomenon and Askja the volcanic caldera. Sleeping in a country manor one night, mountain huts and camping the others. Driving past Vatnajökull the largest glacier in Europe crossing Gæsavatnaleid the toughest highland road in Iceland. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners provided by us. Tour JRJ-3 all year around. One day tour, that lasts 14 hours, to Vatnajökull. Leaving Reykjavik 09:00 a.m. driving 5½ hours to the glacier, a moderate trip on the glacier for 2½ hours (very exhausting) both in snow-mobile and snow-scooter. Drive back in the evening. Very beautiful scenery during driving. Light refreshments such as home-made sandwiches, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sodas are included in price. Tour JRJ-4. Golden Circel and The Blue Lagoon This tour is available all year around. It is a one day tour that lasts for 13 hours. You will get to know the Reykjavellir, a geothermal area; Thingvellir, the oldest parliament in the world; Geysir the most famous hot spring in the world; Kerid an ancient volcanic crater; Greenhouses area at Hveragerdi; Krisuvikurbjarg an ocean cliff with seabird habitat; and at last the Blue Lagoon – the bathing area where geo-thermal water naturally mixed with salts and minerals has healing effects on skin conditions. This is in a natural lava surroundings – open door pool. Blue Lagoon bathing in the end of the day has a very soothing and relaxing effect on tired travelers before a 30 minute drive back to our hotel. Light refreshments such as home-made sandwiches, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sodas are included in price. Tour JRJ-5. Your Private Festival Tour This tour is available all year around and can last for 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 5 days or longer according to your own wishes. Staying at a country manor in remote and quiet surroundings in northern Iceland far from nearest town. The Manor has private hot spring water outdoor pool and wondrous opportunities for walks and hiking – a basket full of short trips with Super Jeep to various highland places when and if you wish, outdoor swimming-pool with warm hot spring water in nearest town, hot ponds, horseback riding, visiting neighbour farms with cows, sheep and horses – helping with feeding the animals if you like….! Deep Sea Fishing on a small fishing boat, visiting local museums, visit the local pubs, skiing, snow-scooters. Northern Lights watching when clear skies in winter. Midnight-sun during summer. All at your own wishes. Suitable for a private person, couples, families with children and company groups. All meals and Super-Jeep trips are included in price. Tours JRJ-8 and JRJ-9. For stop-overs in Iceland New exciting 2 days tour for stop-overs in Iceland. Specially for guests on flights from Europe to USA. Departures every Thursday arriving from Europe and Saturday onward back to the USA. Around 4pm there is a pick-up at Keflavik Airport. These tours are from 18th June to 1st September. Tour JRJ-10 VISIT YOUR OLD COUNRTY. This tour takes you to the roots of many Canadians and Americans of Icelandic desert.
