The town of Bildudalur is located by the shores of Arnarfjordur, not far from Talknafjordur and Patreksfjordur.

The Coop it self is located by the harbour in the centre of Bildudalur.

The guesthouse has 10 rooms and 1 sleeping bag room for up to 4 people. The guesthouse can take 23 people in made up beds and has dining facilities for 60 people.

The vicinity
Bíldudalur a former community now part of Vesturbyggð, is built on the slopes between mountain and sea, on a spectacular fjord inlet.

Fish and shrimp processing provide the local income. There is a guesthouse, a camp site , a golf course, gallery restaurant and tourist information centre. Bildudalur is a typical Icelandic fishing village.

Bíldudalur lies in the shadow of a mountain at Bíldudalsvogur cove in the south of Arnarfjörður. The town is picturesque and isolated, and enjoys some of the best summer weather in the region. Throughout the ages, local people have earned a reputation for industrial innovation, unique evidence of which can still be seen in various places in the town.
