Kajaking in Iceland

Kajaking on the lakes, you can choose a half hour trip at the price of ISK 1700, or a full hour for ISK 2300.
In the shorter trip you row on the open lake, but if you choose the longer trip, you row up the canals inbetween the islets where the reed grows tall in summer and a variation of birds and vegetation blooms in the spring and summer. If you choose to kajak on the ocean, you enter a whole new world.

The skerries and lagoons foster seals and birds, and the vegetation is unbelivably varied.
This trip takes 1˝ hrs for the price of ISK 2.700. We insist that people stay close to land and follow their guide.
The fourth possibility is to take “the whole trip”, i.e. a combination of all possibilities and kajak on the lake, through the reeds, down Hraunsá-river and onto the ocean where you row the lagoons between the skerries and end up at the jetty.
This variation takes 1˝ to 2 hrs and the price is ISK 3.500.
