Beautiful lodges located only in 40 minutes drive from Iceland’s capital city Reykjavik, nothing but peace and quiet and beautiful view. The lodge is located in finest and best vacation area in Iceland in Grimsnes. The beautiful river Sogid runs quietly near the lodge. The lodge stands alone in a wide open space, 360° view scenery is amazing with mountains coming up from the plain fields.

There are nice walkways around the lodge. Short distance to the National park Thingvellir and Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir and the glacier Langjokull. Horse riding and golf courses are nearby. White river rafting and kayak on the lake Thingvallavatn.

The lodge has 3 rooms. The master bedroom has a double twin bed that is made by Mr. Ragnar Bjornson an Icelandic bed maker. He provides best beds available in Iceland. Bathroom with shower. Fully equipped with towels and all that is needed. Feel the hot lava stone on the floor as getting out from the shower. The dining area is modern with fully loaded and well equipped kitchen for self catering. The kitchen comes complete with ample dishes, pans, crockery, glassware - tumblers, wine, beer and even champagne glasses (for that romantic moment on the balcony!), cutlery, There is a four ring halogen hob, fan oven/grill, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, large Lean Grill, blender, dishwasher, washing machine / tumble dryer (in separate cupboard off the house), wine rack, spice rack, toaster, kettle, tea pot, cafeteria, t-towels and dish cloths.
