Landscapes
Outstandingly beautiful photographs by
one of Iceland's leading photographers, taken all over the country and
in the central interior, at places which are renowned for their natural
beauty and other, less familiar landscapes. This is Iceland in the ever-changing
guise of the seasons, captured in various types of weather and light.
Photographer Sigurjón Sigurðsson (b. 1948) studied his art in Reykjavík,
Stockholm and San Diego in California. He is based in Reykjavík and
has published several books of photography.
With a preface by the former President of Iceland, Vigdís Finnbogadóttir,
and descriptions by geologist Sigurður Steinþórsson accompanying each
landscape photograph.
Books are availiable in English, German, French, Swedish and Icelandic.
Size 29.5 x 31 cm. Hardcover with 151 pages.
