A beautiful collection of 75 colour photographs showing Icelandic nature and the Icelanders at work and play. Each photograph is accompanied by a caption, and the book includes an introduction and informative postscript describing the Icelandic country and people, written by Torfi H. Tulinius, teacher at the University of Iceland and an experienced guide.
Photographer Sigurjón Sigurðsson (b. 1948) studied his art in Reykjavík, Stockholm and San Diego in California. He is based in Reykjavík and has published several books of photography.
