The No Name Story
The idea for No Name Cosmetics, a line of cosmetics suited for the complexion
of Nordic women, was fully developed in 1981. The originator and founder of
No Name Cosmetics Iceland, Ms. Kristin Stefansdottir, opened her first beauty
saloon in Reykjavik a year later.
Following the initial success of No Name Cosmetics Iceland Ms. Stefansdottir
established a wholesale company, Cosmic ehf, in order to be able to serve the
growing number of outlets for her cosmetics line.
Among the national activities for No Name Cosmetics is the
"Face of the Year" annual festivities, where a well known personality is
selected as the "No Name Face of the Year" This has become a media event, both
on TV and in Print.
The success of this unusual cosmetics line led to a distinctive advertising
and promotional program, and last but not least the establishment of the "No
Name Make-Up School" a venture that has proved to be very profitable for the
cosmetics line in many ways.
The original No Name Cosmetics line was created by Ms.Stefansdottir to suit
the modern woman, - cultural, healthy living and outdoor loving ! Today, No
Name Cosmetics appreciate more varied colors of skin, for instance more varied
colors of darker skin.
The No Name Cosmetics Iceland products are now available in several countries
where the "Face of the Year" promotion and the

Name Make-up School play an important part and the representatives and beauticians
are specially trained in No Name Training Centers. A special export division,
ADRIANA LTD serves overseas distributors and activities.
