About Us

Octavo Guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to the city center. In a short walking distance you have The National Gallery of Iceland, Reykjavík Art Museum, National Museum of Iceland, The Nordic House and The University of Iceland. There is about five minutes walk to the Hljomskalagardur by The Tjorn (Pond) where it is wonderful to stroll among  trees, flowers and birds. But you don´t have to walk much further until you are surrounded with life in the downtown Reykjavik, where the restaurants, bars and the shops are.  

Our Rooms

Octavo Guesthouse offers two spacious rooms in a quiet street near to the heart of Reykjavik city center. The rooms have a private entrance from the backyard as well as a street entrance. In each room there are two quality beds and  self catering facilities. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, TV and wireless internet connection. There is one toilet with a shower for the two rooms. The guests have access to a washing machine. We also offer a apartment with kitchen that can sleep 4 persons close by
