Seatours

Seatours Ltd. is a long-established travel company located in the coastal town of Stykkisholmur on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in west Iceland.

The company offers a variety of experiences on the magnificent Breiðafjordur Bay, e.g;
  • Ferry Baldur via Flatey Island
  • Unique Adventure Tour
  • Whale Watching (from Olafsvik)

  • Ferry Baldur & Flatey Island

    The Ferry Baldur crosses Breidafjordur Bay daily all year around, with a stop-over in peaceful and charming Island of Flatey. Many travellers choose to take the morning ferry from Stykkisholmur, stop over in Flatey, and return in the evening or continue on to Brjanslaekur. For those travelling by car it is possible to send their vehicle across the bay, while stopping in Flatey Island, at no extra cost. Time table and prices can be found on our website

    Unique Adventure Tour

    The Unique Adventure is a nature & bird watching tour on Breidafjordur Bay. We sail around the numerous islands, explore strangely shaped cliffs and navigate powerful tidal currents. The islands on the bay are teeming with birds and we will get to see puffins, eider ducks, kittiwakes, shags, black guillemots, fulmars and, if we are lucky, the majestic white-tailed eagle. The highlight of the tour is when a small net-plough is cast overboard and shellfish delicacies are brought on board. Everyone gets the chance to taste the delicious shellfish and sea-urchin roes. Seafood simply doesn't come any fresher than this!
