About Saeplast Ltd. Saeplast is one of the worlds largest and leading manufacturers of double walled insulated plastic tubs. Saeplast is currently operating five modern manufacturing plants, i.e. in Dalvik in Iceland, in St. John, New Brunswick in Canada, in Salangen in Troms in Norway, in Aalesund in Norway and in Ahmadabad, Gujarat in India. A substantial part of the production is exported worldwide and the products are sold to over 70 countries on a yearly base. Main Products The Saeplast tubs are specially designed for the food industry in general, including fisheries, processing, meat, aquaculture etc. Other products are plastic pallets and special solutions for the air cargo industry and poultry farming. The Saeplast product range does as well represent buoys, fenders, trawl floats, pontoons, tanks, etc. Other well known trademarks within the Saeplst range are: Polyform, Canmarin, Iceplast, Nordic. Fish industry: The result of almost 20 years front-line experience in the production of high-quality plastic tubs for the international fisheries industry, Sæplast containers are a proven way of increasing efficiency, raising catch values, and potentially improving profits. Constructed of a tough, double-walled polyethylene shell and insulated with a choice of expanded polyethylene or polyurethane, Sæplast tubs are available in several sizes, with or without lids. Significantly less prone to cracking, Sæplast containers can be readily stacked for easy handling, and three-packed for easy return.  Aquaculture: Fish farming is a highly competitive industry, where the difference between success and failure often rest on scrupulous care and attention to detail. For many years, Sæplast has served this specialised sector as a supplier of high-quality insulated tubs for use in every stage of production, ranging from harvesting, slaughter and bleeding, to the processing and transportation of live fish or fry.  Poultry industry: As every poultry producer is only too aware, one major issue facing the industry today is to ensure that external contamination is kept at an absolute minimum, from hatchery to point of sale. To help achieve this, Sæplast has developed a range of containers specifically designed for use in the poultry industry, among them the Sæplast 700 LTC. Constructed of tough, double-walled polyethylene and insulated with a layer of expanded polyethylene, this robust, hard-wearing container comes complete with its own scientifically designed lid, to provide a tight and effective seal against intrusion by gas, bacteria and other potential sources of infection.  Buoyancy / Fendering: For over 40 years, Scanmarin and Polyform inflatable buoys, fenders and floats have served as a hallmark of innovation, quality and technical excellence all over the world.
