Snorkeling is an easy fun way to experience the underwater world in Iceland. These snorkeling trips are for everyone, regardless of physical fitness, skill and age. No certification is required.

Snorkeling in Silfra will be the most exciting and fun thing you will do during your visit in Iceland. Silfra ravine is located in the beautiful national park in Thingvellir. Silfra is a crack in the lava, caused by the sepertation of the continental plates Eurasia and America, with constant fluix of ice cold, crystal clear water. You will experience the incredible blue colors, the clarity and depth of the beautiful Silfra, feeling as you were flying weightless in the cold fresh water.

  • Easy entrance, a platform with steps into the water.
  • Surreal and extreme experience in a near perfect visibility, up to 150 meters, in fresh cold water, between 1° – 4° Celsius.

The National Park of Thingvellir in is known for its divine nature and is the most frequent visited tourist site in Iceland. The first general assembly in Iceland was established in Thingvellir around year 930 and the park has a major significance in the country’s history. It has been said that Thingvellir is a national wonder in an international scale for its geological history and of the Lake Thingvellir which Silfra Ravine is a part of.
