The 14,850 sq.ft. complex boasts two fully appointed VIP lounges, crew rest rooms, fully computerized planning and weather facilities, Jet and Avgas fuel service and beverage and meal services. The Geothermally heated hangar keeps your aircraft warm and comfy if you decide to stay overnight.

Professional staff trained to IATA standards will ensure a quick turn around, or if preferred, a relaxing rest in our VIP facilities for our Business Aircraft Guests and Crews. Staying the night? No problem. We have arranged with local hotels to give large discounts to SouthAir Avitat clients and crews and we take you there and pick you up the following morning free of charge. And that's not all. Our handling charges are the cheapest you will find in the North Atlantic!

Flight Training in Iceland

The SouthAir Flight Training Academy is arguably the second largest Flight training facility in Iceland to the Private Pilot standard. With our modern classroom facilities, and experienced Flight Instructors, Student Airmen soon relax into the family atmosphere that prevails at SouthAir. While the "Student/Airmen" have a dedicated flight operations office, they also have full use of our main flight operations facility where they can obtain the latest computerized flight information.
