Secure Online Data backup
StorIce specialises in high quality Online Data backup, providing technology that even allows for the protection of laptop computers regardless of location, as long as there is an internet connection. All data is encrypted at source before leaving the host computer to their data centre. At the source all data is compressed and deduplicated, file differential backup is used to minimise both storage and bandwidth costs.

Online software backup and recovery
The StorIce software solution is ideal for long term email archives making it possible to either recover complete mailboxes or search for, and recover a single message. StorIce’s solution backs up, Open files, MS SQL, Exchange, UNIX/Linux and also provides the possibility to keep Bare Metal Restore disk images that can be automatically maintained.

For those backing up large quantities of data in an limited time frame, a local storage is setup which will allow backups to complete on maximum speed – this is then replicated to our data centre over a longer period of time.

StorIce allows the client total control of all the data protection cycle, from deployment to recovery, on an organisation wide basis through the StorIce Management Console.
