Restaurant in Reykjavik Central, in a walking distance from all major
events in Reykjavik. Restaurant Tapas-barinn, Reykjavik, opened on 29 September 2000 and soon became known for its pleasant atmosphere and good food, now appreciated by a large group of regular customers. The restaurant features a large menu, containing over 50 meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. You can order individual dishes costing ISK 390-650, or a Tapas selection of 5-7 different Spanish appetizers. There are also other first and main courses available. The ingredients are all Icelandic, and the cooking is versatile. Fresh fish and seafood, along with Icelandic lamb, prepared by our master chefs, have made Tapas-barinn one of the most popular restaurants in the country, known for its good food and generous portions. Tapas-barinn welcomes groups, and the restaurant has two rooms that can seat 30-50 and 50-100 people. Salt cod and lamb are the theme for groups in the summer of 2004, with a special menu on offer from May until the end of September. Tapas restaurant in Iceland Spain has a long tradition for tapas, which reflect the Spanish lifestyle. Eating tapas means dining without regard to rules and schedules.
