The kitchen is open daily from 11am to 10pm Our special theme nights put the focus on food and drink from various countries. Wednesdays are “Asia de Cuba” nights, Thursdays offer numerous different mojitos, Thorvaldsen is already famous for its Friday and Saturday nights which are packed with revellers dressed in their best. Our special Bertel Room is also available at these times for private functions. Regulars to Thorvaldsen will notice that the art on our walls changes monthly.

Our menu, created by chef Jón Friđrik Ţorgrímsson, offers a carefully chosen variety of fish, chicken, duck and lamb that is prepared in various ways. Herbs and vegetables are also important and our chefs can create unqiue dishes using these ingredients. At Thorvaldsen, we only use the best ingredients to make our food taste wonderful.

We are very proud of our bartenders and our waitors. We emphasize fast, professional and personal service. We always ensure that ingredients for all our drinks, including cocktails and coffee, are the freshest available. Our creative bartenders also use many different exotic fruits in our special cocktails, including our famous Mojito.
