The Bishop of Iceland has also blessed this artefact. The Trinity Cross has proven very popular with the public and has found a firm place in the minds of many people who regard it as a talisman. It is a popular gift at Christmas, confirmations, christenings, graduation and birthdays. The smallest cross (no. 4) is often given to young children to commemmorate their birth or christening.
