The bulk of Alma Litteras output is humanities translations into Lithuanian: history, archaeology, religion, philosophy, ethics. Reference books such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals and textbooks are an important part of the work too. Fiction for children and adults, and popular books on health and beauty from Alma Littera are very popular with a wide circle of readers.

Alma Littera enjoys fruitful co-operation with the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, as well as the Open Society Fund-Lithuania.

Alma Littera is an associate member of the European Educational Publishers Group. Alma Littera Publishers has also accumulated solid experience in preparing co-editions: books simultaneously published in Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
