Interfarma started operations in 1993. Since that time it has become one of the largest and fastest-growing pharmaceutical distributors in the Baltics. It is jointly owned and managed by German and Lithuanian partners. The company is headquartered in Vilnius, with six regional offices throughout Lithuania and representative offices in the neighbouring countries. Interfarma employs 90 people in Lithuania and over 140 all together. The company uses modern western technology and management techniques. Its growth is based on the performance and professionalism of our employees. The company is organised in five sales divisions: Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, Veterinarian Pharmaceuticals, Export Baltics, Export Russia & Kazakstan. The pharmaceutical division serves all pharmacies and hospitals throughout the country with a vast product line of more than 2000 pharmaceuticals. Within the next year this will be increased to 5000 products in order to offer customers in pharmacies and hospitals a complete product range. The medical staff and representatives advise doctors and hospital administration on the suitability and effects of the different products. The consumer products division offers a variety of over 400 items, covering dental hygiene, feminine hygiene, body hygiene, baby care and hygiene, baby food, medicated sweets, etc. |
 The veterinarian division serves veterinarian pharmacies, animal health centres, large collective farms and private farms. Products include pharmaceuticals, vitamins and mineral mixtures. From three local storage facilities the company guarantees 24-hour service to all customers. In Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda the company even delivers twice a day. Services are carried out by our fleet of 35 transporters. The subsidiaries in Minsk (Belarus), Kaliningrad (Russia) and Kazan (Tatarstan) began operating in 1996 and the subsidiary in Kazakstan has already become the leading pharmaceutical supplier in that country.
