AB Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (KLASCO) is a joint-stock company operating in Klaipeda State Seaport. Company personnel are highly experienced, a fact that undoubtedly helps us to maintain our position in the competitive market of the Baltic ports. We provide a whole range of services to cargo shippers and consignees. KLASCO consists of the Dry Cargo Port and the Ferry Port. KLASCO handles over 7 million tons of cargo per year: metal from the factories of Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakzhstan; fertiliser from Belarus; containers and grain from Europe and America.
 The ferry port is the most modern subdivision of KLASCO. Klaipeda Ferry Port was built in 1986 for the transportation of railway wagons between the ports of Klaipeda and Mukran, Klaipeda -- Kiel, Klaipeda -- Ahus (Sweden). Every ferry can transport 103 railway wagons or motor vehicles -- lorries, trailers or motortrailers, as well as cars. KLASCO offers the shortest and safest route from West to East as well as from East to West.
