The private joint-stock company Narbutas ir Ko, established in 1991, is one of the biggest manufacturers of office furniture in Lithuania. UAB Nabukas, established in 1994, distributes the company's production. In a short time, the company established itself as a leader in the production of office furniture in Lithuania. Besides the development of industrial capacity, Narbutas ir Ko is also interested in looking for new ways to sell its production. UAB Nabukas was established in 1994 to develop and be in charge of the commercial network and organize sales. At the same time, sales representative offices were established in Kaunas, Klaipeda, Panevezys, Siauliai, Moscow, Riga, Ekaterinburg, IZevsk and Perm. High quality, competitive prices and a wide range of models of furniture make the company viable in competition with firms in these localities. Nabukas works together with West European firms such as Biella, Durable, Helit, Munari, Tombow, etc. It sells their products, mainly office items such as files, paper-holders, pens, boards, briefcases, lamps, etc. Over 2000 enterprises are supplied with office furniture and equipment by Nabukas every year. In order to promote the production of Narbutas ir Ko and that of the suppliers mentioned above, Nabukas takes part in various exhibitions in Riga, Vilnius, Ekaterinburg and Perm. A committee consisting of Nabukas staff awarded prizes for the best display and the best designed furniture at the exhibition organized by the furniture manufacturer's association Mede in Vilnius in 1996. |
