We are pleased to introduce to you the Mazeikiai company Oruva which was earlier named the Compressor Plant and which has been familiar to specialists working in the field of refrigerating technology since 1970. In 30 years the workers have gained much experience in producing compressors for domestic refrigerators. For many years our enterprise has been kown as a serious and reliable business partner. We are always open to any kind of co-operation with business people. Oruva (former Mazeikiai Compressor Plant) was founded in 1965. In 1970 the enterprise started mass production of compressors for domestic refrigerators under license from the Japanese company Nippon Electric Industry. There are more than 2600 people working in Oruva's plant. The production area is 46,350 m2. The stock capital is USD 10 million (58.5 million Litas) of which 83.95% is privately owned. Annual turnover is USD 15 million (60.7 million Litas). Annual production capacity; 1,200,000 compressors. About 85% of our production is exported to the Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Baltic countries and the Caribbean area. Our compressors are known for their good quality and longevity. They are unique mach-ines which run for 15 and more years without any maintenance or repairs. We are one of the first manufacturers of compressors in Eastern Europe to have received the German TUV certificate of safety and began production of compressors with environmentally-friendly refrigerants R134a, R600a. At this moment we can offer compressors of 3.5-8.3 cm3 displacement, with R12 and R134a refrigerants and different voltages and frequencies (220/230V 50Hz and 110/115V 60Hz) with starting protective relays. Besides compressors Oruva has carried out all preparatory work for the production of diesel engines under licence from the German company KHD-DEUTZ. Recently, Oruva launched the production of single and two-cylinder, air-cooled, 12,8917.50 and 25.7 9 (35) kW (HP), 3000 r.p.m. diesel engines of series FL511. These engines are widely used in welding aggregates, light construction machinery, power-generating sets, agriculture and transportation. Due to this wide range of applications, diesel engines are expected to find a good market in the Baltic countries, the CIS and elsewhere. Upon complete implementation of the production line, the output is planned to reach 30,000 units per year. We hope that our company and our production will be of interest to you.
