In 1992 Snaige became a joint stock company and during a few rounds of privatisation procedures the company became 100% privately owned with the employees as the largest group of shareholders.

There are 2240 people working in Snaige. The factory's main products are refrigerators, freezers and combined refrigerators/ freezers for domestic use. At present Snaige has a production capacity of 300,000 units per year.

Snaige is certified by TUV Rheinland, KEMA. Snaige's production is marked by CE.

Snaige's major markets are the Baltic States, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Central and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands. Snaige has a number of representatives abroad, i.e., Dalco Aussenhandels M.B.H. in Germany, Sopadis S.A. in France, Beska Nederland B.V. and Domestic Export Import B.V. in Holland, East-Trade in Poland, Orbex in Bulgaria, Kodala in Estonia, Ronis in Latvia and Euroline Service INC in Kazakhstan.

Under the former planned economy Snaige procured all its raw materials from countries within the Soviet Union. Over the last 5 years Snaige has gradually changed its sourcing pattern and now procures 45% of its raw materials from Western countries, i.e., from Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland and Austria.

Refrigerators made by the company are economical, long-lasting and are produced from ecologically clean materials. Every year the company tries to renovate models of freezing appliances, to improve its construction decisions, to achieve more rational use of its capacity.
