Urbo kalnas is a cottage-type hotel open all year round. It offers single and double rooms and three-room suites, with balconies, toilets and bathrooms. The hotel has a sauna, swimming pool and dining room. In the evenings, guests can play billiards or sit in the bar, from which there is a fine view of the sunset or moonrise over the lagoon.

The hotel has a conference room seating 40 people, with special equipment for simultaneous translation into three languages, photocopying machines, computers, diaprojectors, etc. There are also other meeting rooms for groups of 10-15 persons.

Those interested in sports can hire bicycles, yachts or boats. Angling from a cutter on the Curonian Lagoon is sure to provide some wonderful and unforgettable moments. In Nida it is also possible to hire water skis, bicycles and surfboards, and to ride horseback.

For those with an interest in the past, there are wonderful opportunities to visit museums. The Amber Museum has a fine collection of amber and inclusions; the Fishermen's Museum gives an introduction to the Curonian way of life. Children enjoy a visit to the Aquarium where they can watch dolphins, penguins and sea-lions. The villages among the sands are also places of great interest.

Other attractions include the outdoor environment, concerts, exhibitions, festivals and discotheques. Urbo kalnas offers all conveniences without the noise and bustle of civilization. The hotel is also a retreat and place of recreation for Lithuanian writers, a place where it is possible to find new ideas and inspiration.
