Hydralift produces systems for load handling, heave compensation, pipe handling and riser tensioning, as well as cranes, winches and drilling equipment. The company has marketed its products to international markets within the marine, oil and gas industries for over 30 years.
By 1965, Hydralift had successfully incorporated high-pressure hydraulic components into a compact new crane design with box-type boom, creating a new standard for the ship cranes. Hydralift has, since 1965, delivered more than 4,500 cranes. Based on technology developed during its 30 years in the crane business, Hydralift has extended its expertise into the production of tailor-made hydraulic equipment and special load-handling systems.
Offshore & subsea products Hydralift supplies cranes, hydraulic equipment and load-handling systems designed for use on fixed and floating offshore installations. Current trends show that modern oil exploration is moving towards major investments in subsea technology. Hydralift's heave compensation systems are playing a major role in this development. An active/semi-active heave compensation system makes it possible to perform installation, inspection and maintenance from floating vessels even during rough weather conditions.
