Natural resources of Norway There is only a limited amount of cultivated land in Norway. In spite of expansive coniferous forest, forestry is also limited. Norway is poor in most minerals and metals. Norway's development into one of the richest countries in the world is mostly associated with extensive industrialization, easy access to hydroelectric power, and close proximity to important export markets in Europe. |
