Only 3% of the population of Norway attend regular church services held in the Norwegian Church on Sunday mornings. However, statistics indicate that about half of the people in Norway believe in God and life after death.

There are also several other religious communities which do not belong to the Church of Norway. Many of these arrange religious meetings and conferences which up to several thousand people attend.
