Accompanying the fish from fry to gourmet dishes. Peterson specializes in packaging for the fisheries and fish - processing industry. Peterson Fish Packaging is an integrated partner within the valuechain of fish processing. Our packaging accompagnies the fish from the time it is fed as a smolt at the fish farm - or from the catch at sea - through every stage of processing, until it turns up on the dinner table at home or in an international gourmet restaurant.
When it is time to feed the fish at the fish farm, a sack from Peterson Norsekk is opened. It contains first class food, because the pellets have been packed in a paper sack with the required barrier properties. In fishing vessels and factories fish is frozen and packed in corrugated and solid board cartons supplied by Peterson Ranheim and Peterson Sykkylven. At the foodstuffs manufacturers, the processed fish is packed by machines supplied by Peterson PackTech in consumer packaging from Peterson Sarpsborg.

Sailing the seven seas Special packaging made by Peterson Beck lite-rally sails the seven seas. Our Danish plant, at the island of Bornholm, with its cartons fitted with aluminium frames, holds 50 % of the world market for packaging for block-frozen fish. Peterson Beck manufactures 50 million boxes of fishblock liner every year for sale to customers all over the world.

Peterson office in Hong Kong In addition to our sales agents, and in order to be closer to the market in Asia, the company opened an office, Peterson Asia, in Hong Kong in the spring of '95. Jørn Pedersen, already known by customers of Peterson Beck around the world as a highly professional consulting representative, will head this office.
