The Nordic Countries

The Committees
The Nordic Council deals with matters such as economics, cultural affairs, legal matters, social policy, the environment and budgets.

The members are divided into six executive committees, each dealing with one of these areas.

A Presidium consisting of a maximum of eleven parliamentarians, with no more than two from each member state, is in charge of activities in between the Council's sessions.
