Celje is the third largest town in Slovenia and is the administrative, business, economic, commercial, cultural, educational, medical, sports, and market center of the region.

The Municipality of Slovenske Konjice is located in the Dravinja Valley in north-eastern Slovenia. It spreads over 97.8 square kilometers and has a population of 13,600. One hundred kilometers from Ljubljana, it is easily reachable by expressway and via the sport airport in Loce.
- The Upper Savinja River Valley.
In the colourful mosaic of Slovene landscapes, the Upper Savinja River Valley can be described as an area marked by various panoramas of alpine peaks over 2000-meters high. Covering an area of more than 500 square kilometers, the Upper Savinja River Valley is administratively divided into five municipalities.

Vilim Demsar is a master in the art and craft of violin-making. The Demsar family have practised a traditional local craft of pail-making and violin-making for centuries.

The Municipality of Zalec includes the Savinja Valley and the surrounding hills. The valley is as flat as a table and surrounded by hills where small white churches and houses glow wherever you look.
