ABC Trgovina d.d., Ljubljana is a Slovene trading company involved in wholesaling. More than two thirds of its total revenue comes from customers in Slovenia, while its good business relations with partners outside Slovenia mean that the other third is created by sales in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and Yugoslavia.

ABC Trgovina d.d.’s sales executives know their customers well. With them, they are constantly researching the market and keeping pace with the demands of consumers. They have learnt that the way to attract customers is to offer a range of goods of constantly high quality at competitive prices. As well as established brand names from foreign manufacturers they also offer established domestic brands and, in recent years, own-brand goods. Business decisions like this have led to a constant growth in turnover and increasingly successful trading. In terms of capital yield the company is among the most successful in Slovenia.

ABC Trgovina d.d. boasts a good structure of activities which complement each other well and enable long-term financially stable operation. The quality products offered to customers and the wholesale and retail trade include furniture, building materials, cosmetics, textiles, food and drinks.

The furniture department, which creates approximately a third of sales revenue, offers quality furniture from domestic producers of bedrooms, kitchens and suites. In order to meet customer demand ABC Trgovina has commissioned special furniture lines from Slovenia manufacturers. These are sold both in Slovenia and abroad.

The building materials department sells classic building materials of high quality, house fittings and parquet flooring.

The main activity of ABC Trgovina’s smallest department is the sale of textile products.

Consumer goods represent an important part of the range offered by the department which deals mostly with customers within the ABC Business Interest Association, of which ABC Trgovina d.d. is a member.

The range of confectionery products includes well-known brands such as Milka, Toblerone, Jaffa and Munchmallow. Important brands from the washing powder and detergent range includes Ava, Calgonit and Vanish, while cosmetics and hygiene products include Rexona, Denim, Axe, Impulse and Signal. We are particularly proud of our own brand Olivia which includes various goods such as peanuts, dried fruit and olive oil. Because of our good business relations with the majority of trading companies in Slovenia and our membership of the ABC Business Interest Association (second goods distribution group in Slovenia), the company is in a good position to act as an exclusive agent for foreign products or companies. Increasing business and our circle of business partners is one of the important business strategies of the company, designed to ensure lasting financial success.
