Koper Roads Company (Cestno podjetje Koper, d.d.) was founded in 1962 with the aim of constructing, maintaining and protecting roads in the Primorska-Karst region.

Today, the company employs 260 workers. We are responsible for 204 km of major roads and 269 km of regional roads, and we maintain 803 km of local roads in the municipalities of Piran, Izola, Koper, Hrpelje-Kozina, Divaca, Sezana, Komen, Postojna, Pivka and Ilirska Bistrica. We also provide a full winter service on all these roads using suitable mechanisation which is upgraded every year. Through our two fully equipped asphalting groups, our increased group of construction workers and mechanisation, our company is an important factor in the development of the road network in Slovenia.
