| As Slovenia’s largest software
engineering company, HERMES SoftLab is one of the country’s entrepreneurial

In July 1997, HERMES SoftLab received the ISO 9001/TickIT Certification from BSI Quality Assurance. The expertise of HERMES SoftLab is very wide, including an in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Backup & Printing, HP OpenView products, Microsoft BackOffice technology, networking, GUIs, relational databases, UNIX and Windows NT operating systems, and 2 and 3 Tier client/server applications. It employs software engineers who have the skills to work in a wide range of environments, languages, databases, and technologies. HERMES SoftLab is the only Microsoft Authorized Support Center in Slovenia, offering support in design, implementation, and support of information systems. As a Microsoft Solution Provider, HERMES SoftLab holds educational days to train members of Slovenia’s information technology industry in technical tools, focusing primarily on Microsoft products. In 1990, four engineers independently founded HERMES SoftLab in Ljubljana. Since then, the company has experienced dramatic growth in terms of number of employees, size of projects, and revenue. As the leader of the information technology sector in Slovenia, HERMES SoftLab is contributing to the economic prosperity of the young Slovene state and demonstrating the capabilities of its high-tech sector.
