With half a century of operation behind it, Intereuropa is Slovenia’s leading firm in the field of international freight forwarding, road haulage, and shipping agency. The company was founded in 1947 in Zone B of the Free Territory of Trieste as a limited liability company with only three employees. Since then, its scope of operation and range of services has constantly expanded from year to year.

Between 1965 and 1990, Intereuropa branches were opened in all the major cities of the former Yugoslavia. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991, the branches outside Slovenia were reorganized as limited liability companies. Intereuropa was fully privatized in 1995 with 5,506 shareholders.

Intereuropa’s primary goal is to meet the requirements for logistical services and provide them to the maximum satisfaction of its clients, which means the efficient and modern organization of the company. Our services include all types of transport, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as a range of forwarding services that emphasize speed, safety, and favourable pricing.

Intereuropa’s approach to solving customers’ logistical problems is based on making logistical decisions supported by the company’s own facilities such as bonded storage and handling terminals, trucks and delivery vans, a modern information system, and branch offices in all major industrial centers and at all international border crossings in Slovenia.
