The origins of Iskra ERO, a manufacturer of electric power tools, reach back to 1946. Initially they manufactured hand drilling and grinding machines and then in 1948 they introduced their first electric drill.

Their development then progressed rapidly in the direction of manufacturing new tools: different types of drills, angle grinders and polishing tools, carpentry tools (circular saws, jig saws, routers, orbital sanders) and stirers for mixing a wide variety of construction material.

Today they have a wide range of tools intended for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

Their constant efforts to devolop and improve as well as proving themselves in the face of stiff international competition has motivated them to make their products more and more powerful, of higher quality, safer and adapted to modern requirements and the needs of the customer. The achieved standard of quality has been confirmed by the fact that they are one of the first companies in Slovenia to have received a certificate on conformity to the ISO 9000 quality standard, awarded to them by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Iskra ERO power tools are known in nearly every part of the world, in the European Union mostly under the name Perles, which is also the name of their company located in Switzerland. Their new products and their standard range of products can always be seen at the annual Eisenwaren Messe fair in Cologne.
